Bread worth the trip to Methven
Joe started this bakery to do one thing properly: real sourdough, given the time it needs. We're a small team on Main Street, shaping every loaf by hand and letting the dough prove slowly so the crust cracks and the crumb has a bit of character. Alongside the sourdough we bake baguettes, cracked rye and seeded loaves, cinnamon knots and our oatmeal cookies, fresh each morning. It's a wee shop, so we tend to remember your name and your usual order. Pop in, have a chat, and take home something proper.

via GoogleβQuaint but very personable little shop run by Joe himself, with obvious passion on display. Well worth a visit and if I lived locally would be there weekly. β¦β
via GoogleβVery friendly service , one of which was Joe himself. We tried the cracked rye and seeded loaf and we had to try the cinnamon knots, and what can I say they're bloody lovely. Thank you to the tik tokker who put a post up about this place and helped us find this amazing bakerβ
via GoogleβAbsolute gem of a place! The oatmeal cookies are phenomenal as is everything else really. Our favourite place near Perth.β
via GoogleβWhat a lovely little place. The staff were really helpful when asked a question. We chose some baguettes, and a sourdough with cranberries and pecans. Both were so tasty. Cane back the next week, got more baguettes and a rye based sourdough, which is now my favourite. β¦β
